Here's what we were working with - a basic builder-grade tub surround that had done its time. Functional, sure, but nothing special. The kind of bathroom that works fine until you realize it doesn't have to look that way anymore.
We started from scratch. Stripped it all the way back to the studs, set the new tub, and leveled it before a single tile went up. That step matters more than most people think. If your tub isn't perfectly level, water sits wrong, grout cracks early, and the whole install fights you from day one. We don't skip that part.
From there, we built the surround with vertical stacked tile in a soft blue-grey, which gives the whole space a clean, modern feel without trying too hard. The built-in niche got lined with a white pebble tile for texture and contrast - a small detail that makes a big difference. We tied it all together with brushed nickel hardware that matches the finish throughout.
The difference between a bathroom remodel that looks good and one that actually holds up long-term comes down to what happens before the pretty stuff goes in. The rough-in work, the waterproofing, the level set - that's where most problems start when corners get cut. We handle all of it in-house so nothing gets missed.
This is the kind of bathroom upgrade that changes how you feel about your home every single day. If your bathroom is stuck in a different decade and you're ready to do something about it, this is the kind of work we do.
