Bathroom remodels look great in the after photos. New tile, a fresh vanity, clean fixtures - everyone loves that part. But what's behind the walls is what actually determines whether the remodel holds up for the next 20 years. That's where we come in.

On this Phoenix bathroom remodel, we were brought in to handle the full rough-in plumbing for the new layout. The old vanity plumbing came out first. From there, we added a new vent stack, ran fresh water lines, and relocated the shower drain to match where the new shower would actually sit. None of that is visible once the walls close up - but every bit of it matters.

The red and blue PEX lines you see running through the framing are the new hot and cold supply lines. PEX is flexible, durable, and far less prone to issues than older pipe materials. Routing it cleanly through the stud bays makes the inspector's job easier and keeps everything accessible if anything ever needs attention down the road. The new vent stack running up through the wall cavity ensures proper drainage and eliminates the slow-drain headaches that plague bathrooms with poorly vented systems.

Relocating a shower drain is one of those jobs that sounds straightforward but requires cutting into the slab, rerouting the drain line, and patching the concrete back properly. You can see the fresh concrete patch where the slab was opened up and resealed after the drain was moved. It's not glamorous work - but skipping it or doing it wrong causes real problems once the tile and fixtures go in.

Whether you're doing a full gut remodel or just reworking part of a bathroom layout, the plumbing has to be planned and executed before anything else happens. We handle pipe repair and replacement, full remodel rough-ins, and everything in between. Get the plumbing right the first time and the rest of the remodel gets a lot easier.
